Mr. Abdul Halim graduated with Bachelor of Science in Economics from University of Texas at Arlington USA in 1991, where he hold the position as the President of Malaysian Students Association and he was also a honorary member of Academic Fraternity. He was selected to receive Joan McCrea’s scholarship award and was picked to receive Who’s Who Among American Colleges & Universities Award 1991and locally, he was among the recipients of Tun Razak Youth Leadership Award in 1998. He has over 25 years of progressive experience in managerial functions in MNC i.e. Chevron Malaysia Ltd, ConocoPhillips Inc. and successfully contributed to turn-around several local companies to succeed in oil & gas industry including Buraq Oil Corporation Sdn Bhd and Petro Nuhr Sdn Bhd. He was awarded Caltex Lubricant Professional Award when he was with Chevron Malaysia Limited. To pursue his enthusiast in inbound & outbound traveling activities, Mr.Abdul Halim also completed his Diploma in Travel & Tourism from IATA in 2009 and currently, he is also an ordinary member of Dewan Peniagaan Melayu Malaysia (DPMM).
